Everything from a single source – that is the uniqueness of Scylla AG.
Our exceptionality lies in the way each Scylla ship is developed, constructed and built according our own plans and layouts. The steel hull of the ship is ordered and assembled under the construction management of our technicians in the Netherlands.
The distinctive “Scylla Design” encompasses not only the construction of the ship itself, but also the entire interior design of each ship. Both are developed by Scylla AG. Afterwards, the complete fitting out of the interior is done under our own direction.
In the second phase, the vessel is prepared for shipping operations. All installations required for hotel and nautical operations are undertaken by Scylla AG. From mooring line to lifeboat, from kitchen towel to soup plate - each item is carefully selected and installed on board the ship.
Subsequently the ship is manned. A suitable crew is sought, trained and accommodated – all under the guidance of Scylla AG in-house staff.
The final product is now ready for deployment. The ship - including its crew and services - is chartered out to major tour operators around the world, and welcomes guests from all corners of the globe in their name.
The special “Scylla Service” means our employees go to great lengths to ensure the smooth operation of the perfect cruise – starting from the creation of the itinerary, but also including administrative matters such as the registration of the ships for locks, berths or ports. And of course the shore excursion programme can be organised by our specialists too.

From the engine room to the bridge, from the kitchens to the purser's office, all areas of the ship's operations proceed under the watchful eye of our experts.
