We have also been concerned about the environment. The refuse press, the environmentally friendly diesel engines and the biological sewage plant on most of the ships ensure that pollution is kept to a minimum.
On some of our ships, we have been particularly concerned to cater for the comfort of disabled passengers by installing passenger lifts and stair lifts.
